WHAT IS LOVE?

this was the question picked from the drawlot for our social psychology test. i didn't like this question not because i wasn't sure with my answer at that moment, but because i don't think there really is a specific answer for it. i don't think my pen could mark the paper with the right answer. i am hoping i get the full 20 points for my essay based on what we discussed in class. but if i were given freedom, i'd say you don't need a definition to know it's love. you just know it. you just feel it. you just embrace the thought of being in love. by "being in love" i don't mean just romantic love. i literally mean it. "being" the state of existing. "in" indicates state or condition. "love" whatever that means. "being in love" as in state of existing in this state called love. would you understand? i doubt anyone will ever understand what love really is. As Sternberg said, we each have our own schemas of love, it is our own love stories. our beliefs and ideas are dictated by and patterned after this love story. and perhaps, this is why there will never be a definition for love. because we all have our own love stories. we all have our ideas of what love is. and i don't think there are no right or wrong answers to this question. it wouldn't only be wrong if we give an answer that hasn't been felt by the heart... that doesn't come from the heart.

and i don't even know if what i'm saying above is right. :) i don't care. :)

on another note, i'm craving for jollibee's crispy juicy chicken. just one fastfood day please. please? anyone wanna jollibee with me? haha
