PETA

wow.

I've been so happy for the past couple of weeks. The first few months of 2011 shattered my self-esteem and my usually emotionally stable psyche, especially March. oo, trauma na kung trauma talaga. (to the point na ayoko nang makarinig ng songs from that play. eh favorites ko pa naman yung mga sinama ko dun)

But ever since May 28, 2011... everything has turned around. :)

Welcome back, self-esteem. So nice to have found you again.

and it's so nice to have new friends. Usually, when I meet new people I'd say to myself "wow, more people attending my funeral when I die" But not lately. These 30 new friends are new relationships I'm keeping forever! :) (to add to that, I've found new inspiration!! hihihihiih)

and us, CMT Batch 6, we've come a long way! Since our first Western Musicals showcase, singing songs from Pippin, Annie, Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, etc... to now. Composing OUR VERY OWN SONGS with the loving guidance and support of Sir Vincent de Jesus and Ma'am Upeng Galang-Fernandez. :)

SHOWCASE on MAY 24, 2011 in the PETA PHINMA Theater 8:30pm. Come see how much we've grown. :)

CMT week 2

i can't believe we're down to 9 more sessions. i can't believe we're down to 9 more sessions before we present our all-original PETA CMT BATCH 6 showcase!!

as i said, it feels like glee! this week, we're doing Filipino Musicals! and i'm really glad it's a duet, and it's from Zsa Zsa Zaturnnah Ze Muzikal, a play i know and love!!

This is the movie version, and ZsaZsa's is a bit lower. In the musical, the non-superhero character of ZsaZsa, Ada sings with her.

oh yesterday, we performed "What the World Needs Now" by Burt Bacharach and we did great! :) except for that wrong move someone did. *wink* bwahahhaha

Currently unemployed, and waiting to go back to school, i'm spending my summer wonderfully at PETA as i (with Dolly Vian and Cas) enrolled in their Creative Musical Theater workshop under Maam Upeng and The Sir Vincent De Jesus.

in fact, yesterday we were given assignments. it's soo GLEE! haha mine's "Maybe" from Annie. We're going to sing our assigned pieces in class tomorrow, so wish us luck! :)
