WHATEVER HAPPENED TO ME.

HOMAYGAD. that must have been the longest time i've spent without the internet. and i have proven that i can stay away from the internet for as long as i can. i am online now because i have to do org work and to keep my online accounts alive. :) (i have freezed my plurk account, which is nearing nirvana. ugh) i cannot believe i'm in PEREZHILTON.com page 29. i have been away THAT long. i've read up to 20 chuvaness.com backblogs, and around 5-7 bryanboy backblogs. my email is loaded, offline messages too, and facebook friend requests. and the weekend is the perfect lazy day to waste my time on the world wide web. :)

WHAT HAVE I BEEN UP TO???
my last blog, aside from the bread commercial was about the ENTA Zambales Ocular. so i shall start with that. :) :) :)

HOLY WEEK
I spent the entire Holy Week at my tita's house in Ayala Heights, QC. :) i love it there because the food is wonderful, there's tv, internet, dogs, my cousins, SIMS2 and bottomless ice cream. :) i can't go out anytime i want to though. but i didn't have a problem with that! i didn't mind! i loved staying with the Sto. Tomas'. :) We ate ice cream 3-5x a day, chocolates, brownies, creme brulees, lovet. of course, i couldn't avoid feeling guilty. and so i promised myself that after the holy week, it'll be a whole summer of not eating! wooh.

we didn't stay in the house for a week. Holy Thursday, we went out to fly kites in Luneta. :) haha. it was my first time there, believe it or not. :) had fun! my tita, who was in heels, also flew a kite! hahaha! funny!

played with the dogs too! i'm not allergic to dogs!!! wooh! i always thought that if i play with the dogs, or even go near it, i'd die of difficulty in breathing, or sneeze a lot, or eat their hair or something. but NADA. the whole week i've spent wrestling and running around with Muffin and Angel was fun!! :)
sky was beautiful. :)

thank you to my cousins Michelle and ShaSha for making me feel at home. :)

Black Saturday, i was back at the dorm since ENTA's PLEVSEM (Planning and Evaluation Seminar) was Easter Sunday. I had internet then. I had to finish my powerpoint presentations and my BILOG and other a lot of other things. :) And then Danica, our president, told me we have to meet up at 3 IN THE MORNING. Call time for everyone was 5am. haha. AND SO. I DIDN'T SLEEP ANYMORE because. hahah there was just no time to sleep. :) HAHAHA
it was really really fun. :)
i love ENTA. i love EB0910 (not being cliqueish, i really do, i'm so honored that these are the people i will be working with for a year!)

i love beaches. i used to hate the beach because i hated the sand between my toes or when sand sticks to my feet when they're wet.. but as i grew up, i didn't mind anymore. :) i didn't mind whether the sand was brown or white! i love the beach. :) beaches will always amaze me. :)

this is our BILOG, ENTA's version of a formation session. we did the 3hour BILOG under the blanket of stars, embraced by the warmth of the bonfire, and our senses tickled by the sweetness of roasted marshmallows. :) what is overflowering of words! hahaha. BILOG was nice. :)

Day4 was just calendaring and swimming forever!! :) lovet. no intense sunburns. no hangovers!! (didn't drink! much! hahaha) we were comfortable in our cottages/apartments EXCEPT THE PART WHERE EKHA TOOK OVER MY SPACE IN THE BED WHILE SHE WAS ASLEEP. HAHAHAHAHAHA. joke lang ekhyombs. :)

i was asleep on the way home because i was super tired. when i arrived at the dorm, this sight welcomed me.
ate myra, our dorm's maintenance, brought all the furniture outside, including my things. on the left part of this picture, you can see my pillows piled on top of each other on the bench. yes that's my table, and across it is my cupboard. when i opened the door, my room looked like this.
YES, CLEAN BUT FRIGGIN EMPTY. it took me hours to find the router and the plug of the internet thingy. i was so frustrated because i was SUPER TIRED, and i didn't have things in my room. i had to clean it first from dust so that humans could live in it. so that i could sleep. i was soooooooo frustrated. i don't like it when my stuff gets all over the place without me knowing where they are. when i feel like being messy, i want it to be MY kind of MESSY. i have to know exactly where my things are. but this. WAS just. crazy. it took me hours and hours to find tissue papers, files, wires, and stuff. turns out, ate myra threw it all in the empty cabinets beside mine.
mine is in the center. and those are my things in the other cabinets. argh. i cannot count how many times i prayed to St. Anthony just so i could find things around the room. BUT ANYWAY.

i slept because i was so tired. didn't care anymore whether i found what i've been looking for or not. the following day, i went to enlist myself in the practicum class. of course, that was a long process because i was a late registrant and i had to do the regular registration: lining up and going back and forth. it took me a day to complete everything. i took a day off my internship just to fix registration.

i was just sooo looking forward to the following day. :)

i woke up early, around 5am because i was zuuuper excited to work. :) it was officially my first day. it was my first time to meet and play with the kids! :) it was my first day to test whether i was bluesclues-ish enough for them. :) woooh. AND I LOVED IT!!!!
my first day with teacher (pronounced by the kids as "chichaaah") lei!
and teacher gar!!! :) try saying teacher ron, teacher corn and teacher rap like the way the kids say it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :) :) :) :) :)

i have a long blog about the kids in Learning Jungle, The Fort. But i shall save it until i have pictures of the kiddies! :) Learning Jungle is a pre-school from Canada. :) It's located in Forbeswood Heights, Rizal Drive, The Fort! it's a pretty pretty pretty school, i love it there. :) I also LOVE THE TOYS!!! (diba gar?? lei?? LAKESHORE IS THE BEST!)

Lei works with Teacher Kit in the Culinary and Arts class. they teach kids 5 and above how to cook! really cool actually. sometimes, we get free samples of what they cooked. :) Teacher Gar and Teacher Timee work with Teacher Dez in the BOOKLOVERS class! Basically, we have a book of the week (ex. book about transportation) and all the activities, songs, and toys will be about that book! Our kids are 2-2.6 years old, so they're really really cuties!!!! next week is their last week, and we're going to have a fieldtrip in Fully Booked in Bonifacio High Street as their culminating activity!! yaay. i'm zooo excited. :) i can't believe there are 3 classes left for this run. i will really really really miss Austin (who's transfering to another school), Faith (who's going to Munich) and a lot more! huhuhu. there are other kids who will continue till the next run, and there will be new kids too!!! OJT is just fun. :)

cutieee! the sink and mirror are small din! weeh! everything is small! and i love it! hahaha

i made this for the culinary class. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

i just have a reflection. kids are not comfortable with guy pre-school teachers. i haven't seen one until last friday when an applicant did a demo class in the culinary class. just plain weird.

also, last week, i met up with my cousin. HAVEN'T SEEN HER SINCE MY DEBUT. more than a year ago! hahaha. had lunch in my lola's house, went shopping and then went home. hahahaha. cza is also doing her OJT here in manila. :) she studies at La Salle Bacolod. :)

i guess that's it. i'm pretty full till May23rd! i have to finish my 150 hours in Learning Jungle.. i have to meet all the deadlines for the Formations Committee, do interviews for re-applications and stuff.

so far, this summer is tiring BUT SUPER FUN. :)

* this is quite a long entry, forgive me for my misspelled words, and gramatical errors. i am tired. i've been here in Tapa King (free wifi!) from 11am. it's not 6pm. HAHAHAHA. :) will be back next week! :)

and my last reflection for the day...

my mind may have lost you somewhere in my thoughts,
but my heart will never forget.

AuRevoir!

do you want bread?

i'll just laugh. you judge. ROFL

on an island in the sun

i like that song. :) but i chose it as a title for my blog just because it has the word "sun". HAHAHA.

so remember how i've always wanted to go to the beach and get a tan.

(dance)
my dreams. have been fulfilled.

today, the seniors of the ENTA EB (danica, timee, jeds, omar!) with the resort's owner, Pam, went to Zambales to see the place. :) we also finalized the activities and agendas for the PLEVSEM there. and we had enough time to go swimming!!! WWOOOOHHH!! :)

and although i did want to get a tan, i didn't expect that i'd achieve this goal in a span of 5 hours under the sun. i, not only achieved this goal, but i also achieved burnt skin. HAHA.

i'm not tan. i'm red. HAHA.

anyhoo. i'm just sooo looking forward to ENTA's PLEVSEM. that's FOUR FRIGGIN DAYS in the beach. will people still see me in the dark? will i burn forever? hahaha.

SO EXCITED! WOOH!

high school

with so much time on my hands, i decided to rummage through my old photo albums in my multiply account, as my media locker says i have 253 albums. (and i have 1003 blog entries. ROFL) it's hard to believe i have that many photos because it was just recently that i got my own camera. :) but i'd like to take a stroll down memory lane and post a few photos from my old multiply albums. :) teasing is allowed. LOL

this is how we usually are. a typical day back in our highschool days.
that's caj playing with her hair, and everyone else reading something. hahaha

because football was a sport unrecognized by our school, we didn't have a football varsity. until ben (the one beside me in pink headband) brought "becky" (the name of her football) to school. ever since then, we played football every lunch time in the highschool field. there were no goals, but we had goalees. we had teams. the whole lot. haha. we weren't in the proper attire so when the ball flies across the field, you'd see a black school shoe flying with it. HAHA.
this was the football varsity. the only one in the history of assumption-iloilo. haha
L-R: catt, ben, timee, mabel(with my shoe), anne, fiona, bionat, maan

before we became seniors, my friends pinky, ben, sha, kj, tecia and I auditioned for a musical on the life of Pope John Paul 2. the play was entitled LOLEK (that was the pope's nickname) and we met lotsa people as the cast was very huge. :) miss you lolek people!

me and my siblings back when we were much younger.
josh when he didn't have a girlfriend,
kaylle when lolo cut her bangs, thus the ugly hair,
sivney who didn't eat anything but chicken. HAHA
and a thinner me. boo.

ben, pinky, len, myka and i went to bora after graduation.
we fed the fish and went to another island to swim forever. hahahaha
i want a tan!!!

rehearsals for our El Filibusterismo play entitled LA VUELTA. :)
i miss highschool plays. :) back when there was no budget, and the class treasurer would go around every silence period to collect for class funds.. lol.

Vespers. :) the seniors always had to wear their gala uniforms during important masses.
i love this shot. :)

KAPATIRAN Day 1: Eco Day
The Kapatiran is one of the most awaited events of the year in the hs community. it's where the the seniors (mommies) are paired with a freshman(babies) each. there are activities everyday for the seniors to welcome the freshies! hahahah. it's also an excuse for us to play dress-up without anyone telling us how silly we look. :)

CAT class. :)
i've always liked CAT classes. because?

i was an officer! hahahahahaha!
anabel, catt, myka(covered), cyndi, timee, len, mac, pinky, lulu!

seniors' immersion and retreat! :) we went to guimaras and spent a day with an aeta family! :) it was also my first time to ride at the back of a motorcycle! hahah. our aeta family was lovely. :)

Mary Song Writing contest. :) the whole batch wrote a song for Mary and competed against the other batches. :) we only won first runner up though. but we enjoyed! :)
this is a photo of the musicians of the song writing contest. the singers were in the center of the stage. haha. more pictures in our multiply account!

For our English play, my section staged our own version/adaptation of TROY. it was dubbed as SCAR OF TROY. :) i love the costumes here. considering we didn't have money to fund our plays. :) that's hector and paris stopped by the temple guards. :)

and this is the body of hector which achilles dragged around the walls of troy.
this was actually a funny scene. HAHAHA. maliz was heavy, and it was hard dragging her around, but loi kept her cool. hahaha

the last play i directed and wrote in highschool. :) intense researching on the history of Assumption-Iloilo. :) the play was entitled MEMORIAS DE LA ASUNCION. :)
it was hard because we had two plays at the same time, and the director for The Scar of Troy was my lead actress, shinette. :) and there were lots of actors in SOT who were also in my play. but we pulled it off! and i must say, we did well! both plays were awarded best plays! and lots of other awards. weeh!

we did GK too! :) our GK work was the monday after our seniors' night (prom-ish) so that it was okay for us to be dark, dirty and ugly. hahahaha

me and the rest of the yearbook staffers had to leave GK early because we had work. :)

it's always so surprising for me when i hear other people talk about their highschool. they have 10++ sections per batch, and they're about 400-500 per year level. back when we were seniors, we were all jampacked into two sections of 51 students each, that's 102 seniors. :) we all knew each other, and we were all friends. :) i miss HS. :)

(dance)
and if you ask me which is the best, i wouldn't have an answer. because i think highschool and college are incomparable. :) both are fun and memorable in different ways. :) i know i'll miss college as much as i miss highschool. :)

i'm back and i'm freeee!!

i've just taken a break from my chores. my fingers are bleeding, literally. i've been washing my undies for two hours now, and i'm not even done yet. LOL. anyway. why do i have chores? well. i plan to clean my corner completely. as if i'm leaving the dorm. i just want my part of the room to be clean by the time my new roommies come in. cha and iya have left the dorm a month ago and i've been hoarding the whole room to myself. har har. whaaat! i'm alone in the room! haha.

and heck, i'm sooooo excited for summer! :)

ENTABLADO is going to Zambales for our Planning and Evaluation Seminar on April 12-15! WOOH! My internship starts on April12, but i have a very flexible working schedule, so i can start on the 16th! :) will discuss about my internship later! :)

so anyway. last Wednesday, April 25, after my philo orals, my friends and i went on a very spontaneous roadtrip. haha. we drove (lei's car) all the way to Laguna and Tagaytay for lunch and desserts. haha. when we got back, we went to UP for isaw, and then went back to the dorm to drink and celebrate our last day! WOOH. :) the following day, i helped lei pack and drag and carry her stuff. and then we went shopping in 168 in divisoria! :) spell ADVENTURE. haha.

i love adventures. :)

enzo, gar and I at the backseat!

Zipline, it's where they strap you on this thing that'll hold you in place, and then they push you and then you'll slide down the cable wires across the cliffs. SCARY. it's like this.
Keshia was the only brave soul. i'll post the video soon. HAHAHA

i took this pretty shot of lei and nino!
taken while we were walking to the zipline place. :)

and i must say, the highlight of this roadtrip was:
CREPES.
we went to Cafe Breton in the Cliffhouse (?) in Tagaytay. that place is love. :)
i love Cafe Breton already. :) this crepe is called FANTASTIC PINAY. it's filled with mangoes, covered in Nutella, Chocolate Sauce and instead of whipped cream, i got vanilla ice cream. :)
they should call it SUPERFRAGALISTICESPIYALIDOCIOUS CREPE. :)

after we dropped enzo and gar in ateneo, we went to UP for ISAW! :) rain didn't stop us from eating isaw! hahahaha. UP ISAW IS LOVE!

after isaw, we stopped by rustans to buy drinks (and then to national bookstore for balikbayan boxes). and so, we drank gatorade+sprite+gin! hahah. keshia still had a bottle of absolut vanilla, we didn't like it. HAHAHA. tasted like tempra. HAHA.

and because i didn't have enough sleep (because i was studying for philo), i got sooo sleepy by the end of the day. HAHA. i stayed awake for as long as i could. but still, i was the first one out. haha

the following day, we decided to go shopping in 168 divisoria! we found these really cute summer hats. we didn't buy them because they were too expensive. haha

i love adventures.
let's do it again! :)
