CRAYOLA.

i love wasteland stuff. (stuff that i don't need, but are really cute)

today, daddy's box came and this is what he got kaylle. a 50 piece colored markers set. huuhuhuh. it was just so pretty!!!! i'm so jealous. huuhuh

I WANT TO COLOOOOR. HUHUUUHUHUH. i miss pre-school.

anyway!! i also want this!! CRAYOLA True To Life Twistable Crayons
they have three shades in one stick. and if i'm not mistaken, the picture below was made using these amaaaazing crayons. (they're twistables!!)

it's just amazing that people can invent stuff other people can waste money on. :)

Vivienne Tam

i'm supposed to write a paper, but i'm still calculating my thoughts. meanwhile, i was checking if there were updates from any of my routine sites (perez, bryanboy, chuva, multi, plurk, ymail..). lo and behold.

a VIVIENNE TAM. in the possession of chuvaness. HU. HU. HU.
why are people just so lucky. and it's only P27,950!!!! i was expecting it to be around 40 or something. dadehhhhhh. hear me out. please. haha

it's just so pretty, my heart melts. huuhhuuh. now that kirk is back, this will be my next project. HUHUUUHUUH. vivienne tam. huhuuhuhuhuh

province fun

and so, after arguing with myself for years, i've finally accepted that iloilo IS A province. my province. it will always be the hometown address i'll be putting on application forms because there will always be a current address in contrast to it. :) and i've been asking pinky where else should i go here in iloilo, because in manila, there's zipline in tagaytay, batangas, there's malls, eco parks, intramuros, enchanted kingdom, etc. at least, here in iloilo, the beaches are about 10-15 mins away. (that's minimum. haha) aside from new restaurants, new hangout places, there's nothing new in here. IF you're a resident. but of course, if you're new to iloilo, then welcome to some town-y adventure!! :)

one of the things i like (well. not really like) here is town fiestas. :) i've only been to 5 in my life. La Paz (that's where i live), Jaro (that's where everyone lives. haha), Mandurriao (hey arren! haha), Pavia (hey Mahj and Maliz!) and Pototan (hey Meimei's tita's house!) hahahaha. The only Pototan fiesta brings back bad memories. HAHA :) during fiestas, people bring their whole family and go to their friends' houses to eat. :) (as long as you're invited. hahA) there's usually a perya in the town plaza, so there's ferris wheels, merry go rounds, popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream stands, shakes, and pancakes!! wooh. :)

when i arrived here in iloilo, it was La Paz fiesta, but we don't do fiestas. haha. but my brothers and i wanted to see La Paz plaza, so today, May27, just 3 days after the fiesta, we headed to the plaza. :) and here's what we found. haha
forgive me for the crappy quality of the photo. it's from my brother's phone. :) no one really cares about who MARIELLE is. i didn't even notice it until i saw this photo. haha. no one was there, and the people were already packing away (aww! pack away! i miss pre-school!) the rides and stalls!
merry go round. haha. i really wanted to go ride. booo.
there were two ferris wheels!!! booooo.
this is the perya part of the plaza... roletas, and videoke tents, pula o puti tents, etc. HAHA. we only play for the prizes. i especially like the pellet gun tent. HAHA. booooo.

so instead, we ate popcorn and drank softdrinks, and ate tasteless pancakes! but they're yummy!! (for some reason. hahaha)

it was fun. we walked back to our house. long but nice walk. hahaha. we passed by a super huge lot just a few blocks away from our house, josh and i imagined what it would look like if it were ours. and we'd be free to build anything we want. this is how our house would look like on that lot.

HAHA. swimming pool on the front, and a castle/palace like structure just behind it. HAHA. we heart taj mahal!!

that's all. :)

oh, and i just wanted to share our youngest brother's pictures. BWAHAHHHAHA this is too funny not to share. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH.
HAHAHA kidd. that's kaylle. HAHAHAHA. wearing josh/siv's jersey. HAHAH!
pare. HAHA. you're the cutest thing ever. love you kaylle! HAHAHAHAHAHA I also used to do this to my brothers when they were younger. i dressed up josh in a wedding gown, and siv in my uniform. HAHAHAHA.

au revoir!

my new spongebob jacket

you all know i love pretty kiddie stuff. :) even if the thing is pointless, i'd still get it. :) last saturday, i was shopping with my siblings when i spotted adorable jacket. :) :) :)

i'm a very impulsive shopper. argh. once i was also just window shopping, and i saw this:

here's a close up to see how cute it is

i wasn't a fan, really, but i wanted to buy it. really. but my mom said my brother sivney needed one, i bought it for him. (i secretly wanted to get him a bigger size so that i could use it. hehe!)

how about you? what are your impulsive buys? (mehganon. haha)

and so far, my heart is in good shape. :) hihihihi. just so you know. hihiihih.

Chasing Pavements

ever since i heard the song from Emma Roberts' movie WILD CHILD, i fell in love with it. :) i'm not going to say that i share the same sentiments with the song. hahaha. when i saw the video, hello. i heart it even more. :) so i'm going to show this to you because i love the concept. :)

guess who's baack!!!

okay first of all, the thought that stood out amongst all my other thoughts is:
I MISS MY KIDDIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is so depressing. :( usually, i'd look forward to every mondays, or wednesdays, or fridays because i know i'll see tomo, sayoko, ajo, hans, abbi, andrea, scarlett and jack in the morning, and austin, ian, josh (huhu), sofi, sophia, sam and aaron in the afternoon. But today, i won't be seeing any of them!!! i won't get to sing my favorite songs with them such as "hello hello hello it's very nice to see you! how are you on this happy day!" and "one green and speckled frog, sat on a speckled log eating the most delicious bugs, yum yum! one jumped into the pool where it was nice and cool! now there are no more green speckled frogs.." huuhuh. i miss Learning Jungle. and it's so hard to digest that my internship there is over. if things go well, i WILL apply there in the future. but it's different when you're an intern.

my INTERNSHIP THIS SUMMER WAS THE BOMB.
i love learning jungle. i love the kids. i love that teacher lei and teacher gar were my intern-mates. i love summer 2009 (even though i was deprived of tv, net and phone) WWOOOHH.

here's the book we read all month for the second run. :) Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do You See by Bill Martin. :) this is the song version though. hehehe. i love that the kids memorize the book already. :)

but on a much lighter note, I AM BACK!!!!!!!!
as i texted my friends, it felt weird because i'd usually feel all teary eyed when i leave for iloilo to go back to manila. But this time it's the other way around. huuhuhuh. but i'm still glaaad to be back!! i hate that i left a dozen of krispy kreme donuts in my ref though. ARGH.

when i came back last Saturday, i wasn't in the mood to stay home, so i went shopping with kaylle, josh, siv and mommy. :) wooh. oh and can i say HOME COOKED FOOD IS SUPER!!!!! i found all my favorite home cooked dishes on the table when i got back!! Latik (it's squash soup, manang elsa/manang remya makes THE best. although the one in the photo above is a more soshal version), fish (i barely eat fish in manila!) , Guso (it's seaweed) and Nang elsa's beefsteak! and shells! :) woooh. i heart heart heart real food. :)

in the evening i went out with my friends in smallville (because it's the only place to be. haha), hung out in Mojave! wooh. and oh oh! i heart Gilbey's Premium Strength. :) this will be my favorite drink. next to mudshake. :)
then we went to flow. :)
then was K.O. by 3am. :) thank you friends! wonderful night!!

of course, i have lots of things to think about while i am here, so it's not really a vacation. just a getaway. haha. i just have to list them all down just so i see them. :)

- sportsfest
- entadir's prayer
- nstp (promo)
- acads brochure
- cmo letter
- auds skills training
- learning jungle paper
- pambungad output (c/o omar, jeds and tal)

that's it! hahaha. remember a few months back, ENTA had this project dubbed "ANG BAGONG PALABAS" featuring plays written by the ENTA Writers' Block directed by the participants of the ENTA Directing Workshop. :) it was a success, thanks to Dolly! (and also moi!! i headed the directing workshop yoooo!! haha)

this summer, we went to the Advanced Directing Workshop 1 by Sir Tuqxs Rotaquio and 2 by Kalil Almonte. :) it was fun!! yaaay. :) :) :) so this time around, there's a directing workshop output called PAMBUNGAD. hahaha. i chose to direct Sir Njel de Mesa's play, AYAYAYAYAYA!! it's a funny play, so i invited two funny friends to play the roles of Yaya and Dottie. the womanizers Jedyne and Tal. HAHA. I'm so excited to rehearse for real. :) i blocked them once during our first rehearsals, but i don't remember those blocks. hahahahahahahah. (labyu jeds! and tal!) so, i got omar as my Assistant Director-slash-Stage Manager to take care of them while i'm away. :) wooh. hopefully when i get back i'm already loaded with inspiration. :) :) :)

not that, i'm not inspired now. HIHIHIHIHIHIH.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA. OKAY MOVING ON!!!! (easy for me to say. HAHAHAHA!!!!) i'm just looking forward to everything. for the things lined up for ENTA this year, for the big Sesquicentennial celebration of Ateneo, for my new friends, for everything!!! wwwoooohhh. :)

this time around, let me just say....

BRING IT ON!!!!!

one more chance

i'm back and grumpy in tapa king. i want to eat dairy queen, buy toys in a toy store, buy wasteland (stuff that are pointless but very cute) stuff and etc. but i have to let that go. i'm so tamad now, i just want to sleep forever.

anyway. what have i been up to? :)
a lot. henerala auditions, drinking more, ojt, etc.

i just want to spend a day not doing anything relevant to my life. please. i want to wake up and try out something different from what i've been doing. because what i don't like the most is routinary living. i'm just tired.

maybe because i'm in a new room in the dorm (yes, they moved me to 209), i've been sleeping on the wrong side of the bed, i haven't been sleeping normally, no exercise, i'm so tamad, my room's a mess, etc. and everyone's been pissing me off lately, including the couple who made out beside me. why do people do that? i understand that sexual urges can be hard to control, but can you please do that somewhere not in my face? argh. annoying annoying. and i've been trying hard not to talk to people i'm annoyed at because i might say something i might regret. in normal days, i might joke at how it annoys me, but not today.

maybe i'm about to have my period.

oh well towel.

hey look, there's a carebear flash disk. i want one.
oh and i'm still not sure whether to get a new phone, or to have kirk fixed. ARGH. i really want a new phone, new life and shit. but, I DON'T WANT TO GIVE KIRK UP. k.

argh. grumpy day today.

to the boy who rocks my socks....

i'm really sorry. :(
if i had things my way, i wouldn't even think twice.
i love you. still.

families are for making libre.

circle time, afternoon session at learning jungle. :)
i know, i'm not supposed to post pictures, but you can hardly see any face in the picture!
just teacher dez'. HEHE. :)

HAHAHA. in learning jungle, i saw this book in the library entitled "Sisters are for Flying Kites" it's sad kaya. HAHA. a few days later a saw a "mommies are for ______" book. i forgot what it was. anyway!

when i was in first year, i always dreaded the thought of staying in the dorm for five straight months till i go home. the weekends weren't long enough to spend 5k roundtrip to iloilo, so i had no choice. five months. but now, 5 months doesn't seem so long. yes, please compare that to the 8 months because i didn't go home for the semestral break. wah. i just can't wait till i go home on the 23rd. :) :) :) i remember during that 8 month stay i didn't see any relatives, and i was super dying to see any familiar fez from my family tree. because when i see family here in manila, it just means everything's for free and i can eat real food at nice restaurants. :) it's nice to have that once in while, because i eat fastfood forever in the dorm. and i'm sick of mcdo. of jollibee. of yellow cab. of box o rice.

after our meeting, i went to glorietta to meet up with my cousin, nang marie. :) went around a little because it was on sale, checked out the new glorietta and then decided to go to greenhills. HAHAHA. shopped till dinner, and then ate at Tender Bob's! wooh.

Saturday, after the 10am-430pm meeting, i went to powerplant to meet up with nang marie, tita ati and tito jap! :) we went to greenbelt and went around, shopped a little and then ate dinner. :) nang marie, nang mayette and i ate at John and Yoko. you should try their japaella and salmon belly. yummy forever. :) and then ate mocha sans rival for dessert at classic confections just beside john and yoko! :) after dinner, we went back to my lola's condo in magallanes, and i spent the night there. no extra clothes, no toothbrush, nothing. HAHA. i can be spontaneous and disgusting like that. :)

this long weekend, from thursday till sunday today was a long one. very long one. i commuted a LOT. if i would have it the easier way, i'd take a cab from ateneo to glorietta. but that was expensive too, and i've already spent my splurge money earlier this month. (i have discovered that i have this tendency to splurge on something, and cut down forever till i get my next allowance. haha) this weekend, i also WALKED A LOT. it comes with commuting. you get that already. i've also become comfortable with closed shoes. this weekend, my shopping urges have been tested. there have been many times where i really wanted to buy, but i didn't. and i'm proud of myself. (HAHA). also. this weekend, i ATE A LOT. steak. japanese food, sans rival. the commuting and walking paid off. :)

AND SO. now, i think i will have to cut off from everything good. :) let's say that each person has this amount of power to do whatever he/she likes. eat good food, shop all day, splurge, waste time on useless adventures, drink till morning, and etc. i believe that i've used mine up for this month. (well, until may 23! haha) so i'm going to start being productive and reasonable and conscientious with the things that i will be doing. :) wooh. no excuses.

however, if ever i would have a last hurrah, a last splurge spree, i'd definitely buy myself a tamagochi. :) i remember when i had my first tamagochi when i was in grade1, i was just showing it to my friends. my teacher saw that i had brought it out and thought i was using it, so she confiscated it. BOO.
whatever happened to that thing.. i think it ran out of batteries. and so i used it as a keychain and then it got lost. HAHAHA. oh well. but i want one now. to keep me busy while waiting. i just have so much time doing nothing. for example, when i commute, i wait. during breaks at work. waiting in line. those in between moments. HAHA.

so. there. those are, so far, the things i want to blog about. HAHAHA
below are just random thoughts. :)

- Miss California issues.
because i have very limited internet access here, i read through perez hilton's 39 pages worth of hollywood juice. i've been trying to figure out what made miss california the people's enemy number 1. haha. and so i found out that perez hilton asked the question about gay rights and miss california, being someone with intact religious beliefs, replied that she doesn't support gay marriage. tell that to perez hilton and you'll be a blogworthy beeeeech. :)

i want to say that i, as well, do not believe in gay marriage (coming from my religious beliefs) haha but actually, i'm not really sure with this. so i really don't want to say that i believe in so.
but the point really is, don't people see how sincere and honest miss california's answer was? sometimes i think the question and answer portions of pageants require the contestants to give the favorable answer. but hello. everyone is entitled to their own opinions. i just feel bad for the girl because everyone is hating her for answering honestly.

if you don't like other people's opinions, can you just please shut up and stop trying to look for people to side with you on this. attention horse. HAHA.

- iCAMPUS in Ateneo.
and so everyone is amazed with the iCampus inside the LS bookstore. haha. and what's even more surprising, macbook is now 55k!!! i've been re-assessing my thoughts on mac and why i don't like macbooks. for me lang, THIS IS MY OPINION!!! IT'S NOT USER FRIENDLY!!!!!! huhuuhuhuh. it's like the sony ericson of Nokia. the Fully Booked of National Bookstore. the Fried Chicken of roasted chicken. do you get my point!? huhuhu. i also think that maybe it takes some getting used to when it comes to mac stuff..of course, i've seen how mac works and it's wonderful. the sliding thingies, panels and stuff. photo and video editing, photobooth, etc. it's all wonderful. but windows has been my bff since 7 years old. so you get the point.

and if ever i would get a new laptop, IT HAS GOT TO BE VIVIENNE TAM!!!!!!!!!!! you know me. present me with a super cool phone with all the cool features and a normal phone with lesser cool features but in pink, you know what i'd get. :)
HUHUH. i will treat my vm like a baby. i swear. pretty laptop. it's small too. :)

- you know what's hard living far away from home???
1. sure, i do enjoy bringing baon to school/work. as far as i can remember, i stopped bringing lunch when i was in grade3. once in a while, i do, when the food was yummy. but most of the time i buy in the canteen. :) but this summer, we had to bring our own baon to work, unless we wanted to eat mcdo forever. (it's the nearest from jungle) of course, i like to bring baon because i get to cook whatever i can and want! :) however, cooking is also tiring. i have to get up really really early to cook the food and the the rice. if i was living in my house, all these would've been prepared by the time i wake up.

2. people's enemy number 2, washing the dishes. i hate. i do not have a choice though. i have to. if i want to cook everyday, i have to wash everything everyday. argh.

3. buying stuff. of course, if i was living in my own house, i'd only be spending for my lunch in school, and my weekend getaways. but living alone, i carry all the expenses. from tissue papers, dishwashing detergents, shampoos, soaps, laundry powder, etc. the good thing about living in the dorm is that you don't have to pay for the water and the electricity separately.

4. laundry. need i say more.

5. always worrying what to eat next. or where to eat next. of course, it's all up to me. i don't have a manang fe to prepare torta, sotanghon, and fish when i arrive. i don't have a manang fe who does all the wet market shopping. i just have me. and fastfood. and half cooked chicken. and pasta. and bread. do you see why i badly want to eat real food at a nice restaurant???

6. budgetting your moneh. i don't know how to, but somehow, i manage to get through a month and not go penniless. (sp?!)

7. you can't get sick. it's a major no no. sure, there are nearby clinics and hospitals. but you're on your own. i don't have a lolo who'll ask me what food i want for lunch. (yes, he'll drive to wherever just to buy me food. he does that whenever someone in the house is sick. well, sa kids lang. haha) i don't have a lolo whom i can wake up at 3am, drive to the nearest pharmacy and buy me medicines... i don't have my mommy who'll take my lunch in my room and spoonfeed me... i don't have my mommy to tell me i should stay home instead of going to classes because it's up to me now. so as much as possible, i don't want to get sick.

8. limited stuff. if i need a filipiniana costume, at home, there are lots. if i need a cocktail dress because i'm attending a formal party, at home, i can just pull out one. if i need something to wear for a job interview, i can always look for mommy's corporate attire in her closet. you get that. my last resort is buying.

this list can go on and on. but maybe the one thing that's good from all this... is that i'm on my own. :) i can eat whatever i want, i can go out whenever i want, go wherever i want. i can think for myself, and decide for myself. no one's going to tell me what to do, what time i should get home, what i should wear. :) i can be proud of my own efforts. (i.e. if i didn't have ojt yet by the end of march, i would've asked my relatives for connections. but i didn't. :) and i can proudly say that I AM LIVING MY OWN LIFE. :)

so to my parents, thank you. :) for trusting me on this. for trusting my own life to myself. :) for believing i could. :)

and the last thought for this blog....

i thought this was going to be easy. i thought i could do this with my eyes closed. apparently, the world is conspiring against me. i can foresee how i will be in the next few months. please Lord. help me.

if you can guess the last part, i'll give you a prize. hahaha
Au Revior!!
